I do love this dressing. I read other's reviews and crushed the garlic with the flat side of my chef's knife and then threw the entire clove into the dressing. All the taste without the actual garlic! Also, I like my dressing heavy on the vinegar, so added more. Thanks for a great recipe!

Easy & tasty. I used olive oil & splenda instead of vegetable oil & sugar. I am anxious to try it w/ other kinds of vinegar.

This was just OK. A bit too strong for our taste. It felt like it needed something else. Might make again but would experiment with the quantities.

YIKES! I don't understand all the 5 stars. This is WAY too tart. Sorry, there are many other salad dressing recipes on this site that are so much better.

One word, WOW! There is such a huge difference in this dressing and the store-bought kind. I will also never buy bottled again! This took literally 5 minutes to put together. I used olive oil and added freshly ground black pepper. My new favorite salad is this dressing, romaine mixed with iceburg, dried cranberries, feta cheese, cucumbers, red onion, yellow pepper and pecans or walnuts. I also added a little fresh basil to the salad before mixing. This does separate, so a salad dressing shaker with a tight fitting lid is a must.

This is a fantastic recipe. My husband said it's the best vinaigrette he's ever had. I did replace the sugar with splenda since I'm watching carbs. Delicious!!!

WOW! This dressing is SO delicious. I put it over a garden salad with tortellini and it really made it jazzy! I will make this again and again and again. Better than the restaraunts and better than the bottled stuff and so so so so easy. I doubled the recipe but other than that I made it exactly the way it says. Thanks for sharing it!

This is a good basic recipe. I cut the recipe in half. I used half safflower oil and half olive oil. I thought I could get away with half the sugar, but no, it needed nearly the entire amount.

So easy and so incredibly delicious! I could have drank this stuff! I used my hand blender to mix it and it worked very well. It eventually seperated but not as quickly. I added just a touch more sugar than it called for. I am NEVER buying vinigarette again! Thanks!

The flavor is excellent. The only problem is that the oil and vinegar will separate almost instantly, so you have to shake it a lot before each pouring.

Very tasty and right up my alley since I absolutely love garlic. Since I'm watching fat and calories, I used two packs of Equal instead of sugar, and Enova salad/cooking oil. Turned out great, thanks!

Very good. I used olive oil, and only 1/2 tsp. salt, as we don't use much salt. Worked well on both a tomato and onion salad, and a salad with mixed greens, tomato and cuke. Teenage son liked it too!...I'm updating my review to say that I've also made this with sherry vinegar with good results. Also, I have had to cut down on salt so now I leave it out altogether. The vinegar has enough of a kick so it's still good, even without the salt.
