I love this recipe. I have made this recipe three or four times now and it comes out great every time. Be advised that these are really chocolately brownies. It's kind of an intense amount of chocolate which is not really a bad thing. Couple of things I do differently is, make sure that you stop stirring for a while in the beginning to let the sugar mixture boil. It's not going to if you are constantly stirring it. I use 2 8x8 pans and it comes out perfectly. The last thing to do is to let the brownies cool overnight, there is so much chocolate that they need time to set. That will solve any problems with them seeming like that they are not done yet.

I loved this recipe! It was better than the box but I wish they would have been a bit more like fudge and a bit less like cake. I'll be giving these another shot, maybe I did something wrong. Till then my rating is a 4. Thank you for the recipe!! :-)

No matter what I tried, they always turned out cakey. I reduced flour, made sure not to overmix, took out baking soda/powder, even tried underbaking them slightly, nothing worked. Great taste, but not a fudgey brownie.

Awesome! Don't waste your time or money on box mixes. This recipe is perfect and even a half recipe comes out perfect. I did allow a couple of hours to let it set up. The only bad thing about this recipe is that the first brownie easily leads to more.
