I tried to make the brownies yesterday, but it didn't turn out. I followed exactly what the recipe said. When I took it out of the oven, the outside looks really beautiful, but when I tried to cut it- the middle part was not done yet. I put it in the oven again for another 15 minutes, but it still didn't work. This brownie has really good reviews so maybe I am missing something...

Fantastic chocolate brownie. Very chocolately, very gooey and very yummy. I split the batter into two smaller tins and cooked a little longer than stated but undoubtedly the best brownie I have tasted!! My seven year old daughter says YUMYUMYUM!

I really liked these brownies. I'll use this recipe again. My end result was a more cake like brownie. Next time I think i will try to cut the recipe in half. The ingredients made a BIG pan full.

I absolutely recommend this recipe. It's simple and lives up to its name "VERY Chocolate." I do cook them a bit longer and it is important to let them set before you cut them or you may be tempted to put them back into the oven.

OMG - GREAT BROWNIES!! I was looking for one that did not have cocoa - because we were out, but we had plenty of chocolate chips. I used the the 2 cups of choc. chips melted in the butter mixtrue - then for the choc you stir in at the end - I used choc. Chunks - and I added walnuts. They really were the best brownies I have had!!

OK, heres the basic idea: I love chocolate. However, every brownie recipe I make from scratch tastes really terrible. I made these brownies yesterday for a friend.. I am telling you, these are BY FAR the best brownies I have EVER made (boxed included). Even the girl I brought them to didn't believe they weren't from a box, so I had to send her the recipe for proof! The changes I made was to halve the recipe, baked it in a 8x8 glass pan for 25 minutes. The one review is absolutely correct, they must set up before you cut into them or you will want to put them back in the oven. Seriously though, these are fabulous!
