I chose not to use the wine, instead mixed the shredded cheddar cheese with the eggs and poured the mixture over sauteed onions and chopped mushrooms. Didn't have fresh basil, so just added some dried to the veggies as they were cooking.

This is a good dish. However,I switched it up a bit. I added minced garlic instead of powder I also added whipping cream into the egg mixture (which I did not separate). I added basil into the eggs as they were cooking instead of added it at the end. When the eggs were done I kept them on the burner and added a few slices of american cheese on the top and stirred it in as it melted. My husband and I like the american cheese better for this specific dish. We had baked french toast with this and it turned out to be a good brunch. Thanks for the recipe,we will use this again :)

I just used all the eggs and didn't separate the whites and it turned out great!

Fabulous and easy to prepare. Tastes as though you put more time into it than was actually required.

I needed to use some whites leftover from a recipe yesterday that called for only yolks. Am I glad I found this recipe! Adding wine to scrambled eggs is a revelation! I had some leftover steamed asparagus, which I chopped up and tossed in. I substituted ricotta cheese that I wanted to use up for the cheddar. It was a hit with the whole family (which in my case, is only teenagers and adults.)

Great scrambled egg recipe! I never thought of using white wine in scrambled eggs before and the fresh basil really made a difference. I forgot to read the reviews first, or I would have reduced the wine. I too found it a little bit watery, but still delicious. I added some smoked turkey sausage to make it a more filling meal.

This was a hit. I didn't have mushrooms instead used frozen three pepper and onion blend you get in a bag. No complaints and everyone had seconds. The meal was colorful, fun, tasty, and healty. A must try.

A unique and delicately flavored dish. I used the full amount of white wine, red peppers instead of green, dried basil and no mushrooms. Delicious!

I followed the advise from other reviews and added about 1/2 of the broth. It turned out fabulous!

This was very good. You couldn't even tell that it was almost all egg whites, there was so much flavor. I used regular sharp cheddar as I didn't have lowfat and dried basil as I didn't have fresh. Still good. Even my fried-food lovin' husband loved this, and that's a hard feat.

Delicious! I used fresh garlic (not powder)so I reduced the amount of wine to offset it. Turned out great!

This was pretty good. Next time I will reduce the amount of wine because the eggs came out watery. I cooked the eggs through as I normally would, but the liquid would not evaporate. I was worried if I kept trying the eggs would just dry out. Unique, tasty. Thanks!

This is a great recipe! My boyfriend really liked it too. I love the fact that it is mostly egg whites and only two whole eggs. I made it without the green pepper because I didn't have any in the house and it still tasted great. I also did not have any fressh basil, so I had to use dried...I imagine it would have been even better if I'd had all of the ingredients. I will definitely make this again.
