Vegetarian hot dogs are mashed and combined with pickle relish, onion and mayonnaise to make a sandwich spread that's great for picnics, or any occasion.

This is a quick and refreshing no cook vegetarian meal. Basil, mozzarella and tomato on Italian bread. Great for those hot summer evenings when you don't feel like cooking.

Very simple - this is a broiled sandwich made with ciabatta bread, pesto, and fontina cheese.

This is a healthy melt in your mouth sandwich if you are tired of the traditions. Whole wheat bread is served open face with cream cheese, tomatoes, alfalfa sprouts and mozzarella cheese, then baked to perfection. These are sure to impress the pickiest of eaters!

A simple and easily adjusted broiled open face sandwich concoction. You can use beef, ham, turkey, chicken, etc. You can also adjust the veggies. Just make sure the cheese is always on top to pull it together. The combined flavors of the ingredients that I've listed blows my mind every time I make this. Eat with a knife and fork!

Just made this for myself and it was so amazing that I had to share my recipe! Use fresh smoked mozzarella and not the American version of that stiff mozzarella. Can be found in gourmet and specialty shops. I also add Provolone, but havarti, Swiss or yogurt cheese can also be used. You can make just one sandwich or use a long sourdough or French roll for a semi-large gathering.

My favorite way to eat fried green tomatoes! They're layered with red tomatoes and pepperjack cheese between 2 slices of bread, and then grilled to ooey-gooey, cheesy, crunchy perfection.

Fresh, ripe tomatoes are marinated in olive oil and balsamic vinegar, then broiled with Parmesan cheese on toast. Serve warm with a bowl of soup, if desired.
