I tried this for the first time tonight and I really liked it. It has a very nice flavor. My children, on the other hand, wouldn't eat it. Oh well, to each their own. I would recommend this dish. Also though, I think the next time I use this recipe I will be making it into stuffing. It has excellent makings for a great stuffing. Thanks for sharing!

Just finished eating this great vegetarian dish! Loved it! I caramelized the onions, used whole grain bread and put some tomato sauce on the top for additional taste and it gave this a great accent. This is now my favorite vegetarian recipe!

I read the reviews for this recipe and was excited to have something vegetarian (other than sides) for Christmas. I followed the exact recipe, which I seldom do, but it was not good! To put it in one word, it was bland. I have tried Amy's veggie loaf and was hoping it would taste like that but it did NOT. Thank my sister for the country grave she made to add some flavor. I wouldn't go through all the trouble of making this recipe considering the results. :/

I was really impressed with this dish! I had no idea what to expect. I ended up using only 2 cups of bread crumbs, but 7 eggs to get the right consistency. Served it with roasted potatoes and asparagus.

I love this recipe! Was very easy to put together and tasted better than I expected. The mixer was a little dry so I added in about a cup of greek yogurt and the result was perfect!

This is basically a meat-less meatloaf. It is very hearty and makes a great main course next to mashed potatoes and corn bread. The best part of this recipe is that it is so versatile. I have made it several times and if you omit or substitute an ingredient it still comes out tasting great. Even my carnivorous father said he loved it, which is high praise indeed since he usually scorns meat-less dishes.

Of the several different vegetarian nut loaves I have tried, my family liked this one the best. I chopped the walnuts and sunflower kernels briefly in the food processor for a finer texture and it sliced easily. Just as good rewarmed the next day too!

wanting to keep it simple, i looked all over my neighborhood for a nut loaf mix to no avail so I tried this recipe. It was a big hit for the veggie crowd. I even forgot the eggs and it was still very good. This is one of those recipes that you can really mess around with for different variations. I used fresh parsley, thyme and sage instead of basil and oregano (I did add some italian seasoning too). Since sunflower seeds are somehow unheard of I used cashews instead to delicious ends. Added some flax seeds. Wonderful! Thanks for posting will definitely make again.
