This was good. I didn't add the cornstarch and kept it as a soup. All kinds of vegetables could be added to this. Great way to use leftover ham. I used 2 cups of low sodium broth and 2 cups water. Glad I used low sodium broth because my ham was pretty salty to begin with.

Great way to use the leftover ham! I added an extra cup of ham, 2 cups of water, 1 Tablespoon chicken bouillon granules, and two cups dried egg noodles. I also whipped up a batch of corn muffins to go with it. It was delicious. I think I will make a double batch tommorrow to bring to my grandma. Very yummy! My husband loved it, too.

This was ok - I was not too crazy about it, but it used up my leftoves. I didn't measure every single ingredient, but just eye-balled everything. I also added 2 medium potatoes and omitted the starch step. Added dried red chili pepper powder, as well as some parsley at the very end. OK

Very good! I sauted my onions, celery and chopped fresh garlic in 1 TBSP butter, used chicken broth instead of water and added butternut squash. Did not use green pepper, but did add whole wheat pasta to thicken instead of the cornstarch. Great hearty, healthy soup!

Excellent. I left out the green pepper and added another cup of water. Made about 6 servings.

Absolutely fabulous!! I doubled the cabbage and used a minced red chili instead of the green peppers and it turned out GREAT! Will definitely have this again.

This was a great way to use left over ham instead of the normal bean soup. I don't use a lot of salt in my cooking so this was normal for my family. They added salt on their own. Everyone loved it.

This was nice to have on a cold night in front of the fire! I left out the sugar and didn't miss it! I added some additional veggies and some pasta and it was thick, warm and good!
