Original Recipe Yield 3 dozen bars
 

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups quick cooking oats
  • 1 cup vegan chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Mix flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and baking soda together in a large bowl. Stir in brown sugar, oats, and chocolate chips. In a separate bowl, combine oil and vanilla extract; stir into flour mixture. Press dough into a 15x10 inch jelly roll pan.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven until lightly brown, about 15 minutes. Cool before cutting into bars.
