Del Monte® Canned Pears in Heavy Syrup or Del Monte® Lite Sliced Pears
2 3/4 cups
quick-cooking rolled oats
slivered almonds, toasted*
fresh red raspberries
Wonderful combination of flavors to start your day! This was so easy and so good plus it was very filling. This is a great way to perk up regular morning oatmeal. Since I didn't have fresh raspberries on hand I topped it off with a dollup of fat free greek vanilla yogurt, additional toatsted almonds and dried cranberries. I really didn't need the brown sugar as it was sweet enough as is.
Very good and healthy. Don't need much brown sugar because the cinnamon and vanilla and sweetness of the pears (I used the light syrup kind) are sweet enough for me.
