I just used the glaze from this recipe for BIG soft Ginger cookie recipe. Worked excellent!

I thought these cookies were really good! I like a soft-cakey cookie and this fit the bill. I made them for "apple day" for the kindergarteners and the teachers all asked for the recipe. I did bake them at a lower temperature.

If anyone wants to attempt this recipe (which I wouldn't suggest you do) your first step should be to decrease the cooking temperature to 375 or lower. With the posted time and temperature, the cookies come out very burnt. Past that, the texture is gooey and unsatisfying, and the taste is mostly of raisin and nutmeg. On the bright side, they are visually appealing.
