This was first made for me by a friend and I had to get the recipe. Every time I bring this dessert it is a hit and I have many requests for the recipe! Easy, delicious, and fresh.
Made this exactly as the recipe stated the first time around. Very good. Since that time I have used this as a basic template for lots of different variations. White chocolate pudding is my favorite but we've also used cheesecake pudding mix. For crusts I have used chocolate chip cookies (the crunchy ones), store bought shortbread crust, and ginger snaps. You can't go wrong. It's all wonderful! And if you use fat free sugar fee pudding, fat free cool whip, and smik milk- it's almost guilt free. Some times I skip the crust and then it's totally a yummy guilt free dessert.
Made this for the 4th as a dessert. Everyone said it was very refreshing and yummy. Modifications: I used a French vanilla flavor whipped topping and French vanilla pudding mix. Also, I did need to use more than 50 Nilla wafers to fill the pan (actually just used the whole box), needed more butter as a result, so just keep that in mind. Overall though, well worthwhile :)
