Wow! Really easy and delicious! The only modification I made was to use the mini Nilla wafers (which really isn't a modification) because that's all I had. This dessert was nice to look at (I made it in a pretty glass trifle bowl) and delicious. My 6 year old son had thirds. Don't change a thing.

LOVE IT! When I make this for home, I leave the bananas out and cut them on top fresh when I serve after dinner. It keeps them from turning brown when the pudding is stored in the frige.

I used this recipe, however I added a couple of things that made it GREAT! I added strawberries & cream chesse (whipped). I used fat free whipping cream, fat free sour cream, reduced fat vanilla wafers and 1 cup of 2% milk. after letting it sit in the fridge for a couple of hrs, it was great. Everyone loved it. Will definatley eat again. It's ALMOST guilt free.

Everyone loved this! I made mine in an 11x8 glass dish since I don't have a trifle bowl. I did my layers as: cookies, pudding, bananas, cookies, pudding, bananas, pudding, then crushed the remaining cookies and sprinkled them on top. Covered it, and chilled it overnight and served it the next night for dessert, and it was inhaled! Seriously easy and so delicious, I will be making this again happily as well as at the insistent request of my family! Thankyou!

This is the easiest, no fail, amazingly yummy recipe ever. I used low fat sour cream, lite Cool Whip, 1% milk and fat free vanilla pudding mix. Still awesome!

Yes, I do have to agree that this recipie was fas and easy- but definately not worth the 5 star rating. I thought it had a pretty basic taste, and was slightly dry.

I was looking for something quick and yummy to make at the last minute. This pudding did the trick. I don't think it was overly rich and it's even better the next day.

I just made this last night for my family and they really loved it. I did do some changes to it. Since I doubled my recipe, i used 2-5oz. boxes of vanilla pudding, 8oz. of crushed pineapple drained and only used 1 1/2 cups for the recipe, eventhough i doubled it. It is a very RICH dessert, but it is also very good. will continue to keep making it. Thanks

Made this last night for girl's night with ALL fat free or low fat ingredients. It was such a big hit! I had some today, 24hrs later, and found it to be even better, now that the cookies have softened up. This was great, different, and sooo easy!

This is my favorite recipe for banana pudding, and it's very hard to beat. I agree, you should never leave the bananas on top, they turn horribly dark. Better to seal them off with a layer of pudding or whipped cream and top with crushed cookies.

Wonderful, easy recipe. I always end up using more bananas than what this calls for though...Update: Every time I make this one I get raves. I think its the sour cream.

I never would have thought sour cream and whipped topping would make this so good, but it's a thick and creamy pudding. Easy to overeat, so be careful! :)
