Original Recipe Yield 1 - 1 1/2 pound loaf
 

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 teaspoons caraway seed
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 1 1/2 cups dark rye flour
  • 2 cups bread flour
  • 2 tablespoons vital wheat gluten
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Place ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order suggested by the manufacturer. Set for French Bread cycle, or Normal setting.
