Everyone LOVED this chicken! It tasted great -- a perfect balance and sweet and savory. I will definitely use this marinade again.

Yummy! I made the recipe as stated with 2 exceptions...I didn't have a lime and I used Splenda brown sugar blend. I was only able to let it marinade for 2 hours, but I used 'chicken strip' sized breasts and it seemed ample time. It was really, really good. I served it with Peanut Sauce I from this site...because Peanute sauce I makes the world a better place.

I don't mean to be a party pooper but I was unimpressed with this. Flavorless, is the best way to describe my experience. I'm shocked at all the other reviews.

Delicious! I used boneless chicken thighs & my indoor grillpan, let the chicken marinate overnight, & it was heaven! I started eating 2 thighs, then said I could go for 1 more, then it was a 4th piece! Excellent recipe! Thank you!

I generally complain when people make multiple changes to recipes and then rate the recipe they didn't cook- like the time a woman changed a red bean beef chili recipe to a vegetarian white chili and rated it a 5!!!! But in this case, this is such a simple and yummie marinade you can substitute based on what you have available and it's still great. I used all lemon, agave nectar instead of sugar and regular mustard(marinaded 8 hours but didn't add mustard until last 3 hours). I had good intentions of grocery shopping earlier in the day. Served w green salad w/ kiwi fruit and a dressing made from o.j, dijon mustard, red wine vinegar and olive oil.

Sorry! While my husband thought it was okay, I'm afraid I didn't find it very flavoursome and it didn't permeate through the chicken at all, leaving the middle tasteless and even a little dry.

Another way to make chicken ! We loved it. Follow the recipe and broiled it and used skinless boneless breast. It was VERY Tangy and yet sweet. My 5 year old grandson had seconds.

My entire family loved this recipe. I followed it exactly except I added some balsamic vinegar to the marinade and I only had time to marinate for 3 hours. It was delicious.

This delicious! I made the marinade exactly as the recipe said, but instead of marinading and grilling the chicken, I shredded some baked breasts that I had leftover from the previous night, and sauteed them with broccoli, onion, and red bell pepper. Served over brown rice. Fantastic!!

This is an awesome marinade for chicken. I use it all the time now. I do reduce the amount of brown sugar to 1/4 cup for our tastes though. Everyone loves it!!!

This is our favorite way to make chicken - my only suggestion is to use garlic powder or granulated garlic, because the real thing tends to burn on the grill. I also double the recipe - and we let it marinate overnight if possible so that all the goodness soaks in. This is also really good on pork.

This is the best chicken marinade I've tried in years. I doubled the recipe and put about 1/4 aside for basting. Then I put 3 chicken breasts each in large baggies and divided the remaining marinade between the two bags. I only had time to marinate them for 2-3 hours and they turned out fantastic -- tons of flavor. This is an easy way to prepare chicken and I will be making it often.
