This is the BEST chicken marinade I have ever tried!! I made this and put it on top of a garden salad. Moist, flavorful and tender. I did pound my chicken to about 1/2 inch thick before marinating, then grilled over charcoal. Thanks for sharing!

Awesome exactly as is. Yesterday I made it on the fly and used chicken tenderloins and marinated for an hour... came out soooo great! I had reserved a some and immediately started marinating whole breasts the dinner tonight and it TURNED OUT EVEN BETTER!

I tried this recipe and found it too sweet for me. It tasted like teriyaki chicken. Maybe next time I'll leave out the brown sugar or reduce to a couple tablespoons max.
