I am not a big potato fan and have never had a twice baked because it never sounds good. I was wrong. This is great.

Great recipe. I changed one thing. I used french onion dip rather than the sour cream and it added just the right kick.

Creamy and Delicious! I omitted the bacon to save on calories. Next time, I'll cut the sour cream in half and use low-fat to make it a "lighter" recipe!

these were very good, I did do things a little different as to what I had on hand. I didn't have enough sour cream so I used some ranch dip that I had, and wow did it ever give this recipe an awesome flavor. I omitted the milk cause after adding the sour cream and the ranch dip it didn't look like it needed it. I also added some other spices that I had on hand from epicur( cheese, chive and garlic as well as a garlic potatp topper). Am I ever glad that I found this recipe thanks

This was my first time making these stuffed potatoes and they turned out great. Even my 21 year old daughter liked them and she puts the finicky into a finicky eater. She does not like anything except for ten basic foods and that is all. But she loved these she ate more of these than I did and she ate them for left over’s the next day. Left over is not one of her acceptable food groups so thank you PONYGIRL64 and all the people who left feedback on ways to get the potatoes out of the skin and some other little tips. Thank you!!

These were really good. I mixed the cheese and bacon in with the potato flesh instead of sprinkling it on top. I also did not use green onions. Very good, and a big hit with the kids.

These were great. My family at all of them. The only thing I changed was I mixed the crumbled bacon in with the mashed potatoes. Every bite had bacon in it.

Wonderful recipe and very easy! Just make sure to let the potatos cool after taking them out of the over, otherwise they start to fall apart when removing the insides!

I've used this recipe three times now and have gotten great reviews from everyone that has eaten them. I have left the bacon out of the recipe because I usually don't have bacon on hand, but will try it in the future if I plan far enough ahead. Excellent, easy recipe...all you need is time. I like to prepare the potatoes ahead of time on a Saturday afternoon and refrigerate them until 30-40 minutes before the rest of the meal is ready Saturday night. Great with sweet corn and roasted chicken...mmmmm

I have been using this recipe for a couple years and we LOVE these. I follow the recipe exactly as stated except I add the bacon into the mixture opposed to sprinkling it on top. It takes some practice to get the potatoes scooped and not damage the skin, but once you get it down, it's totally worth the work.

As Rachel says "Yummo". Be sure to use baking potatoes (skins won't fall apart).
