I really loved how chewy they were while still a little warm but they got rock hard after they had cooled down completely. Can anybody tell my what I did wrong? I'm guessing it's the baking time but I'm not sure...
(UPDATE) I made cookie bowls with these!! Delish!!! Used half shorting half butter used my jumbo muffin pan turned it over lined it with aluminium foil and buttered formed my dough around them and there you go perfect little chocolate.chip cookie bowls!!Its funny how so many people can use the same recipe and get such different results! My cookies were NOT flat or HARD....mine were actually on the thick side smd very Chewey I will no longer need my other chocolate chip cookie recipes! I will only be making These are absolutely Delicious! I seen on a site where they added 1/4 cup powder creamer I decided to try it glad I did end result was AMAZING Crispy on the outside chewy in the middle
The flavor of these is good but nothing about it stands out. They are thin cookies, which is a big negative in my household. IMO, there are many better chocolate cookie recipes here so experiment!
I decided to make chocolate chip cookies but didn't have any semi sweet choc. chips, so used semi sweet chunks instead and did not add any nuts. Both my husband and I decided these were better then any chocolate chip recipe on the back of the Nestles chocolate chip package. Will be making these from now on.
Same recipe as the one on the Gold Medal bag. I always get compliments on them! My cookies are done in about 10 minutes. I skip the nuts and highly recommend good quality chocolate chips (I used Ghirardelli in mine).
