We do a similar recipe using leftover sloppy joe meat (made with manwich) and spread open face on stale hamburger buns. We lay a half slice of cheese on top and bake them until cheese is melted and meat is warmed. We call them BEEF EATERS and they are well liked.

My family has been making these for a lot of years. But we use pizza sauce and call them Pizza Burgers. They are so great! I loved the bbq so we have a new and modern take on an old family classic. Thank you!

I wanted to try something different and since I had all the items on hand I gave it a shot. It wasn't bad, but nothing special. Tastes like sloppy joes and next time i think ill just make those instead.

I thought these were okay. Maybe I will try them again but with shredded chicken and less barbecue sauce. I don't know, they just didn't seem like a WOW food to me. Easy to make and cheap but not one of my favorites I guess. I used the regular sized biscuits, should have used the grands. It didn't really affect the flavor but I have a ton of meat mixture leftover. At least enough for one more batch. Maybe I'll freeze them and use them as party appetizers or something.

instead of rolling out bisquits,I used pills. grands and made a indentation with a glass in the center and brushed it with egg yolk and then filled it with the meat ,bake it 12 min. @ 375.I didn`t need to clean any pans except cookie sheet. My husband had just said now he knows why he`s getting so fat.

I made these for hubby & we both loved them!! Had a bit of trouble getting the biscuits to stay in the muffin pan as opposed to trying to escape by attaching to my fingers, but I succeeded. These were worth the struggle!! Delicious!!!

As another person posted, just plop the biscuits into the muffin tins and form a well. Very easy & very tasty. The bbq sauce is what makes them--we love using Sweet Baby Rays. YUM!!! :)

My sister-in-law made these for our wedding brunch, we loved them! She felt bad for making something called "uglies" lol but I really wanted to try these. So I have never actually made these but they seem easy enough to make - but I know they're delicious :)

BTW- kids loved the idea that dinnner was called Uglies! ~smile~

Really good, easy and normally have all items on hand for quick meal. I had to scramble last night to make dinner for DH when I found out I didn't have everything on hand for the planned meal, so I busted these out quickly and he really enjoyed them. He said "So these are like sloppy joes with biscuits and cheese?" and I was like NOO!! Wait... uhh yeah I guess! LOL! These will get thrown into the rotation for an easy dinner night. I added some mustard and worschteshire sauce to the BBQ for extra flavor.
