Okay this was originally from a Quick cooking magazine years and years ago. I never use tomato juice always tomato sauce. I also always add more spices as we like things spicy. In recent years I have gone to adding homemade refried beans. We love the thickness of this chili and the depth the refrys add to it. This has been my standby since I was pregnant with my 6yo. First time it was made in my house my DH made it as I was to sick to do so (gotta love all day morning sickness) and we fell in love with it from there.

The chili is very tasty, but a little liquidy, more like chili soup. It is very quick and easy though. Might try again, but cut down on the liquids more this time.
