What a neglected treasure of a recipe this is. One review? More than three years ago? These spuds are excellent and unique! Hubs, who does not give five stars lightly, rated this with 5 fingers up! I adjusted the amounts slightly - I'm sure it was difficult for the submitter to be precise with the measurements. I followed the recipe closely, tho' I did add some cooked, crumbled bacon. To offset the sweetness the parnsips contributed I added some Jane's Krazy Mixed Up Salt and some Montreal Steak Seasoning (and a dab of butter along with the cream cheese). Be careful with the buttermilk not to add too much - I found I needed just a dribble. Different and delicious, these were a hit with both of us tonight. I'm glad I made extras to freeze!
