PHILADELPHIA Tomato & Basil Cooking Creme
hot cooked long-grain white rice
This recipe was super easy and very tasty! I even used Minute rice in the microwave, so the whole thing was done in less than 20 minutes!
It was good, but I had to use a different pan for the cream because the fish stuck to the bottom and it needed soaking. Also, Im a beginner cook, so I wasn't sure how to "top with fish and reserved sauce" well. It tasted okay, but I think next time I will use a little less rice/or try to make it less sticky and have my husband cook the fish since I'm still learning. The overall taste was good but my cooking skills are still in the beginning stages. I will try again though as I get better at cooking fish
This was amazing! My family loved it. I added a mango sauce underneath the rice and made the cooking cream (cream cheese and basil and sun dried tomato spice) instead of buying it. I also cooked the tilapia until it was cooked, but not fully browned. Yummmmm! So good. I recommend it to everyone! Even if you don't like fish, you'll LOVE this recipe.:)
I had these beautiful talapia filets and was looking for a new recipe. Tried this recipe but didn't have tomato & basil cooking cream so used the savory garlic and added some diced tomatoes. I also didn't have peas but had some baby lima beans in the freezer and used those and shoot me if you like, but I added some sliced frozen carrots too. I also added some heavy creay and put in some red pepper when making the sauce. (very nice) For the fish, after washing I dusted it in yellow corn meal and then pan seared it. Very simple, very quick and very good recipe.
This recipe is amazing! My husband actually likes it and he is a VERY picky eater. I just wish it wasn't so hard to find this specific cooking creme anymore.
