The presentation of this dish is fabulous! But, I thought it was too bland. It seemed to miss something. I made it as per the recipe. Probably would have been better if the gravy was made instead of using a jar gravy. My husband liked it. I did, too, but it needed a little of something.

I wanted something new to use up my turkey leftovers. I would have given this 5 stars if I followed the recipe exactly. I only had cream of chicken soup instead of stock. I added water to compensate. I may have added too much because the turkey filling did not thicken up like I would have liked. I may make again as the recipe is stated. The flavor was still good.

We enjoyed this a lot--nice use of Thanksgiving leftovers. I had homemade gravy left over, so I used that instead of jarred. I also sprinkled Cheddar cheese on top since I didn't have American. The peas add just the right sweet counterpoint to the salty gravy/stuffing.
