Very good! Did not have any fresh basil in the garden so I used dried. Also I used ground turkey instead of sausage, and added about a teaspoon of pepper to the meat. I also used fresh from my garden tomatos, onion, and garlic. We will definatly make this again!

This is a tasty recipe, but it is REALLY meaty. I used the equivilant weight of ground turkey and substituted a large can of tomato sauce for the second can of diced tomatoes. My dad LOVED it because he's a meat-eater, but my husband and sister asked for more tomato sauce to dilute all the meat.
