I would give 3.5 stars as written. Good basic recipe but rather bland without modifications. Really does need the onion and garlic that others suggest. Very nicely creamy and a good sauce to "solids" ratio. I made a few weeks ago as written and then broke out again for the rest of the frozen turkey. Added one large onion (sauteed), a good spoonfull of smashed garlic from Trader Joes, a can of mushrooms (traditionally tetrazzini has mushrooms), also about 1.5 cups of diced celery (because I needed to use it up). With these additions and a topping of crushed round crackers mixed with more parm, it was absolutely delicious. I know many folks have issues with celery...I dont think it really added alot to my bake, but we like celery and it was a tasty way to use up the rest of a head that was on the cusp of hitting the composter. The sauce is great...just needed to tweak the other ingredients for flavor.

I followed the recipe however the taste was something left to be desired with my family. It tasted more of the flour than anything else. Will not make again.

This was a great recipe. I changed it a little bit. I used ground turkey. I browned it with onions and 2 cloves garlic, added a spinkle of dried basil, plus salt and pepper. I only added a 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese because that's all I had, but added 2 cups shredded montgomery jack cheese. I mixed most of the cheeses in it .. leaving just a little for the top. Then I melted butter (maybe 4 tbs spoons) in the microwave and mixed garlic and herb breadcrubs in the butter and sprinkled it over top. Baked it for 40 minutes, cooled it for 30 minutes. It was awesome. My daughter is a picky eater, and she ate 2 servings!!

4 1/2 stars. Very good...and easy to make. I added the onions and garlic like others had suggested. I also added mushrooms, broccoli, cooked spinach, and green beans.

This was very good. I did add some onions and garlic into the melted butter, I think that helped with giving it more flavor. I would make this again.

It was pretty good, with a lot of changes/additions, though. We didn't have vegetable broth so we just used mushroom broth, and it still turned out well. Added sauteed minced garlic and onions as others suggested, as well as lots of herbs (rosemary, parsley, thyme, oregano) and some pepper. Also added mushrooms and peas, and topped the whole thing off with Romano cheese and bread crumbs. Still tastes really good, but I wouldn't call it "the best". I'd definitely recommend the recipe though. It was still very tasty!

This was very good and very filling. Great new recipe for leftover Thanksgiving turkey. I took some other's suggestions and sauteed minced garlic and onions in olive oil, then added the butter, flour, broth and milk. I also added a small bag of SWEET peas and used whole grain pasta to incorporate some veggies & more fiber in this yummy casserole!

This was delightfully creamy and very yummy! I didn't have enough Parmesan cheese so I substituted some mozzarella to make up the right quantity and it turned out great! We will definitely make it again.

This recipe was pretty tasty and a great way to use leftovers! The only addition I made was a can of peas - a little sweetness added just the right touch. Thanks!

This recipe was exactly what I was looking for to use on leftover Holiday turkey. The texture was great! I used Colby Jack cheese instead of the parm. cheese called for. May require a little extra help from seasonings depending on taste, otherwise could be "bland". I tossed in some Garlic salt and lots of pepper.

VERY BLAND!!! and I added sauted celery, onions, garlic, a bag of frozen veggies, salt (LOTS!), pepper, topped with bread crumbs and only cooked it for 30 minutes (it wasn't dry)..I have to say my 2yo & 4yo loved it! My husband & I thought it was way too bland!

I added frozen peas and frozen asparagus, the latter cut into one inch pieces (because I did not have mushrooms, a tetrazzine staple). It was a great, colorful addition.

I used this for the base of what I made. I wanted to use up items I had. Plus I only needed to make half the recipe. 1/2 package spaghetti cooked to pkg directions. 1/4 c butter, 2 cloves garlic, 1/4 c flour, 1 can (approx 2 c) vegetable broth, 3/4 milk, 1 c parmesan cheese, 1/2 lb ground turkey cooked and drained (you could easily use 1 lb with good results), 1 16 oz package frozen mixed veggies steamed and drained. I did step three adding garlic before flour. I also mixed flour with some broth to disolve before adding to melted butter. I added all of the cheese in this step. In the same skillet I added the ground turkey to the broth mixture, then the noodles, then the cooked veggies. Since everything was just cooked it was relatively hot when mixed into broth mixture. I heated through on the stove. I didn't top with additional cheese nor did I bake in the oven. My family doesn't care for "crusty" tops on casseroles :(. In the end I used only 1 pot, 1 pan & 1 strainer. The family liked it alot. Just a variation

Pretty good there was too much parmesan for our taste so I cut back on that and added mozzeralla cheese to the sauce to make up for it. Will make again though.
