This is a tasty recipe! I added poultry seasoning during every step, since turkey is usually really lacking on the flavor.....it helped a lot. I will use this recipe often!

These were totally delicious! I'm not a huge fan of ground beef, but my husband misses stuffed peppers, so I've been hunting for a stuffed pepper recipe that doesn't call for ground beef. My first attempt, with a different recipe on this site, was a total failure -- but this was wonderful! The only change I made was to add lots of extra cheese. Other than that, everything was the same. These are great!

Yummy! I took the suggestions of others and added in some lemon pepper, red pepper, all seasoning and layered the ingredients with cheese. And then added a dollop of sour cream on top. Very tasty!

I added 1/2 a cup of rice to this and used it to stuff 4 peppers. Also added hot sauce, pepper, and italian seasoning because the filling tasted a little bland. The tomatoes are great in them - next time I'll add more (only used 3 Roma ones).

I love stuffed peppers and so does my husband. I altered this recipe to suit our tastes and added an egg and some white rice, a little italian bread crumbs and parmesan cheese. I also boil my peppers first before baking. I didn't use a white sauce, I used a red sauce with some white vinegar to top these. They came out great.

I must admit I made a few changes to this due to the fact that hubby and I love spicy food. I seasoned the ground turkey with worchestershire sauce, crushed red pepper, lemon pepper and montreal chicken seasoning. I used the garlic, onion and tomato as suggested, but also added fresh, chopped cilantro, jalepenos and some leftover rice. I substituted whipping cream for the milk and added 4 ounces of creamed cheese in lieu of butter. I also used shredded mozzarella and cheddar in the bottom of the peppers and on top of them after they were stuffed. We used two bell peppers and two poblano peppers as that is what we hand on hand. They're baking right now, but we taste tested the mixture as we were stuffing and it is delicious!

I'm going to give this 5 stars. It was fantastic! The only thing I would suggest is using some more spices, the flavor was bordering on bland. I added my own spices on each individual pepper after tasting and it was much better! To each his/her own though! A def. keeper in my box!

Very Good, wife made it for the first time. I prefer more hotness maybe a jalepeno added but overall the sauce was excellent. Very good meal to make and healthy.

Took a little longer on the prep time than the recipe suggested. But this was great. A great twist on stuffed peppers.

I like this recipe, but felt that it was bland. To kick up the flavor, I added crumbly bleu cheese to the recipe and used precooked brown rice. The bleu cheese gave the turkey a very nice smooth kick that my partner loved! I will make these again!

Great recipe but IMO needs a LOT more seasoning...I used roughly twice as much pepper plus some oregano, some Mrs. Dash and a teaspoon of Tabasco. I also used grated parmesan cheese instead of cheddar. Easy to make & very good.

Ok, to be fair, I gave the recipe 4 stars because I made some changes, but I wanted to give it a review because my opinion was different than the others. I though the overall taste was a lot like Hamburger Helper in a green pepper (and that's not a good thing). It didn't taste bad, but really not what I expected. I added rice (as others suggested), diced mushrooms, and fresh spinach. I was glad to see the recipe without the usual ingredients, but something just didn't do it for me. I will try this again, exactly as written, and update my review then. But, I have to say that if it still tastes like it did tonight, I'll change the stars to 3...

I like this recipe alot! Followed every cooking method the recipe called for, but just added a pinch of poultry seasoning and seasoned each layer with it's own S&P. Also added more than 2 tablespoons cheese, just cuz you can never go wrong with more cheese :) Used an extra sharp white american. It was really tasty! Try this recipe, it's good!

Very easy and tasty recipe! I used 6 medium green and red peppers so I had to double the recipe. Per another review, I opted not to boil the peppers. This allowed them to have more substance after baking in the oven. Also I used 4 garlic cloves (I love garlic!) and added 2 cups cooked white rice. I think the rice made the recipe even better. Definitely going to make this again!!

My family loved these. I doubled the recipe and used red and yellow bell peppers. I also used ground turkey breast and added some Herbes de Provence. Will definitely make again. Thanks for a great recipe!
