Used 85/15 ground turkey NOT ground turkey breast. Seasoned turkey with onion powder and garlic powder, prior to cooking. Added 2 tbsp beef broth. Did not use celery seeds or chopped onion. Used regular ketchup and kc masterpiece regular bbq sauce. I love it.

I'm a bit of a foodie, and this recipe was simpler than I usually choose. That said, the flavors were very good, and I really appreciate that I had everything on hand. We don't exactly pile on the meat, and this amount would easily make 8 sandwiches with our standard sized whole wheat buns.

Great recipe for a night when I had no idea what to cook. Subbed celery seed with diced celery as others did. Bf loved it!

This was extremely easy to make, and not too bad, but I just wouldn't make again.

This recipe was a hit with those who like sloppy Joe's. I used regular Ketchup and added a little extra. Will cook it again.

This is a great base start but I'm an adder of ingredients to everything I try. I found this recipes to not be very sweet despite my using Sweet BBQ Sauce - maybe because I didn't have regular mustard so I used Dijon. I added 3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar, used fresh celery instead of celery seeds and made Wheat Spaghetti noodles as the buns I had were bird food. Quite a different take on this dish but this Sweet Spaghetti was lovely and yummy!!!

I changed the recipe a bit based on what I had in the kitchen, but what a great quick dinner option. I didn't have bbq sauce, so I added additional ketchup and instead of celery seed, I chopped up fresh celery. I also added extra onion and used 1 tablespoon of white vinegar and 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar. I also added garlic powder and about a tablespoon of tobasco sauce. I served them on arnold's sandwich thins with reduced fat shredded cheddar cheese. Thanks for the recipe - this will definitely go in my rotation! :)
