tried this and then used my familys favorite recipe. Use a 12 oz. bottle of grape jelly and add 1/2 to 1 whole bottle of chili sauce, in a suacepan and cook over medium heat to all combined, put in crock pot with meatballs.use 1/2 bottle at first and then add till you have the right taste for you , its tart and tangy sweet depending upon the amount of chili sauce. We liked our sauce best.

We really liked this recipe, but found the sauce to be very strong. I didn't have any low sugar jelly, but I think I would use that next time so it wasn't quite so sweet.

I found a very similar recipe to this in a cook book I own so decided to go and make this recipe. It was awful! The meatballs were fine, standard turkey meatballs without any flavour (though the bran flakes were a good idea) but the sauce was inedible! I had never had grape jelly before and apparently I don't like it, at all. We ended up just eating dry meatballs with rice and veggies. A disappointing meal to say the least.

Good, Low Fat Meetballs. The grape jelly smell/taste is really strong and that took away from the taste. Perhaps next time I'll use 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup instead.
