Manicotti shells are filled with a three-cheese mixture, when topped with store-bought spaghetti sauce beefed up with flavorful sausage. Enjoy them with sliced canned pears and frozen garlic bread...or accompany the entree with steamed fresh green beans and warm Italian bread.

'When making traditional lasagna, my mother would always have leftover noodles, so she experimented and came up with this tasty way to use them up,' writes Renee Buck from Greenville, South Carolina. 'You can substitute chicken for the ground turkey and use spinach instead of broccoli in the filling for these roll-ups,' she suggests.

'My newly married daughter didn't want to ask her mother-in-law for the recipe to her husband's favorite meal,' writes Donna Moyer of Grants Pass, Oregon. 'Instead, she asked me to help her figure out a recipe. Together, we cam up with this delicious stick-to-the-ribs casserole. It's so easy, today my 4-year-old granddaughter stuffs the pasta shells herself!'
