My boyfriend loved this sandwich. It is delicious and will become one of our staples. I think the addition of chopped walnuts introduces a wonderfully crunchy texture to this otherwise creamy sandwich. Next time I will try it with less cream cheese for myself, as the sandwich felt too rich with the amount I put on. I admit I did not accurately measure the cream cheese quantity.

YUM!!!!!!!! I made a few slight revisions to this sandwich that put it over the top. Instead of using bread, I used flour tortillas and made the sandwiches into roll ups. I also toasted the walnuts, used a spring mix instead of lettuce & used just plain jellied cranberry sauce (not with the whole berries), which I spread on over the cream cheese. I made my sister's first & she said it was good, but needed just a little oomph, so on my Mom's & mine I mixed a few drops of red wine vinegar in with the cream cheese. SOOOOO GOOD!!!!! My mother commented on how tasty lunch was & all 3 of us had no leftovers (that usually never happens).

Great sandwich. Our local favorite deli makes similar sandwich. Try adding sprouts, remove walnuts, maybe a pinch of sunflower seeds instead. Yum.

I took a week and tried out several grilled sandwiches to add to our lineup. I used honey mesquite turkey for this recipe and deli bread-rather than sourdough. I also used my food processer and mixed the whole berry sauce and cream cheese together for easier spreading that wouldn't run. I also left out the nuts-kids.. With these small changes it was a 10 star gourmet sandwich that was easy to assemble, and tasted great! Pleased all 8 family members. It was added to my recipe line-up. Thank you for a great recipe!

Great way to use leftover turkey. I omitted the walnuts as my family doesn't eat nuts. I also buttered the outside of the bread and cooked them in a frying pan until the outside was brown. Yummy. Thanks for the recipe.

I love this sandwich! Except for the walnuts. It doesn't need them for my tastes. One of my favorite parts about Thanksgiving is the sandwiches from leftovers, it's just not the same with deli turkey!
