For as long as this took to make, I really expected something outstanding. It was just ok for me - but I had it for leftovers the next day and it tasted better. So I think this is one that has to sit for the flavors to really come out. I still won't make it again though -

Very good. My boyfriend loved it so much that there were no leftovers and there are only 2 of us. I only had a pound of grount turkey so i divived everything in half. I also left out the carrots since I didnt have any. We like a lot of seasoning so i added some seasoning salt, pepper andsome red pepper flakes. It was amazing.

This was the most BLAND sauce I have ever tasted. I should have know that a sauce that calls for only a tiny amount of dried herbs would be awful! All the garlic or jalapeno in this recipe couldn't save it. After a terrible supper i had to save the rest of the sauce with thyme, oregano, sea salt, fresh pepper, fresh basil and fennel. This recipe was such a waste of time!!

An OK start...but it adds a lot of flavor to use turkey sausage (remove the casings first) instead of regular ground turkey. I also prefer to use red pepper flakes instead of jalapeno peppers.

I followed this recipe to the letter, and it was amazing. It freezes and re-heats well, too!

easy and great in a time crunch! no need for the 3 hrs (1hr fine) but always better when you let simmer longer

This sauce is SO authentic tasting it's scary! So full of flavor, an instant hit with guests, great if you mix up the meats or just use turkey, great with extra jalapeno or none, great with cream instead of milk. LOVE IT - it will be a staple in our house for a long time to come.

This recipe was great!! I put it over rotini noodles since that is our favorite. I substituted red wine for the white wine, chili flakes for the jalapenos (because I didn't have any), added green bell peppers and parm cheese right in the sauce. I also cut the recipe in half because it was only for my husband and me which reduded the simmering time by almost 2 hours!
