Ingredients

  • 1 (6 ounce) can tuna, drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can peas, with liquid
  • 3/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 quart milk

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, stir together the tuna, peas, butter, salt and pepper. In a saucepan, stir together the flour and milk until smooth. Stir in the tuna mixture, and cook over medium-low heat until thickened, about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour over crackers or toast to serve.
