This is very good, but I did make a few changes to the recipe. I use rotini and cook it for about a minute or 2 less than what the package says for al dente. I cut the milk to one cup. Instead of crushed garlic, I used 1 clove minced. I eliminated the salt because the soups and tuna already have sodium in them. I add about 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese to the mixture before putting it in my casserole dish. Sharp cheese makes all the difference for a little extra zip. I tried it with mild once and it just wasn't the same. I top it all off with some bread crumbs that have been tossed with a little butter. This is one of my husband's favorite meals!

I made this tonight for dinner and it was fantastic! It wasn't dry or bland, it was super easy, too! I used shredded cheddar and added some fresh broccoli (which I cooked with the pasta the last 2 minutes it was boiling) other than that I made no changes. Thank you for a terrific recipe Chris, my family loved it, we don't even have leftovers!!!

What a great comfort food! My boyfriend and I both loved it. The only substitutions I made were buttery Ritz cracker topping instead of chips and I had to use cream of chicken (2 cans along with the cream of mushroom) only because I didn't have any cream of celery on hand. It turned out great. Next time I'll add some sour cream to see how that tastes.

A solid four! Everyone enjoyed it and wanted seconds and thirds. There is nothing special about this but it's just good homecookin'. I love the addition of garlic and the American cheese works here. The recipe makes plenty, we have five in our family, and we had leftovers.

This recipe was really yummy. I am a cheese-a-holic, so I added additional cheese slices to the top as well as tomatoes (just like mom used to make) and it was so good. The chips did get soggy on reheats so I would halve the chips on the original and add more with each reheat.

Very similar to my old standby. No complaints at my house. I use cream of celery and cream of chicken soups, omit the peas (hubby doesn't like them), sometimes add a little onion, add some cubed Velveeta in the mixture instead of cheese slices in the middle, if I have some. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes then top it with a bunch of shredded cheese blend over top and bake an extra 5 minutes. Yum!

Good recipe! Didn't wow me in flavor, but couldn't be easier to put together. I used two cans of cream of mushroom, and added chopped celery for crunch. It's pretty good cold, too! Only problem is that the potato chips get soggy. Thanks for this!

Kids and hubby liked it. I added peas for colour and since they nest nicely in the pasta shells. I used bread crumbs instead of potato chips on top and grated cheddar instead of slices. All in all easy and good. Made lots too.

Nice flavor, but I used ritz crackers instead of chips for the topping & a lot of the pasta shells on the top of the casserole weren't cooked well. Quick and easy to make. Husband really liked the flavor.
