I like the idea of mixing the cheese into the tuna salad, as well as baking them. I used spray butter and light wheat buns. Not a big celery fan, so I just used a few chopped celery leaves, and we always add a little chopped dill pickle and hot pepper relish to make it more flavorful.

These were good. Had them for lunch today. Didn't add celery. Will make again.

Very nice sandwich! I liked the fact that everything stayed together because of the cheese melted in with the tuna.

Very Good! I thought these were better than several more 'elaborate' recipes for Tuna Melts that I have tried. The only change I made was to substitute several shakes of dehydrated onion for the fresh chopped; I'm not a big onion fan. Thank you for the easy and very tasty recipe!

I give this 5 stars for being a great starter recipe. We LOVED this, and ended up making another round (hubby made two more rounds.) I didn't have any chedder, so I used mozerella. I'm excited to try the chedder. Also, I used celery salt instead of regular salt and whole wheat buns. Yum! Thanks for the great recipe. :-)

I really like the idea of mixing the cheese in with the tuna instead of on top. Delicious.

This was a great, simple version of a tuna melt. I added tomato slices, substituted light mayo and 2% sharp shredded cheddar, and used croissants instead of hamburger buns to dress it up a little. It was DELICIOUS!

Was fun dicing the cheese and mixing it in with the tuna. Next time I'm going to bake for 20-25 minutes to make it a bit hotter and crispier.
