We absolutely love these. They have the best flavor. Made them several times and they have been perfect just as they are written. I do add a bit of vanilla to take it over the top :0)

These are the best pancakes! We cooked up all of them and froze the leftovers and they even reheat great. I have not found another recipe or had pancakes at a restaurant that are better than these.

Buttermilk is so thick that any buttermilk pancakes need to be cooked with a lower heat longer to ensure that your cake will not be sticky.

These are a keeper! I made a couple changes you should try. I didn't have buttermilk so I added vanilla yogurt and a little more milk as well as some additional vanilla. This recipe is going into my favorites file. Thank you for sharing

The perfect pancake. Sift your dry ingredients. Bring your refrigerated ingredients to room temperature. Mix sparingly. Add a splash of vanilla if desired. This can't be beat!

YUM! The BEST flapjacks I have had in years! The only thing I did different was make 5 servings and added 1 tsp of vanilla. I've been missing my grandma's flapjacks, everything else is a flavorless sponge compared to this.
