Simply Delicious! This was my first time using buttermilk for pancakes and they turned out perfect and fluffy.

I've tried making these a few different times (One using vinegar & milk for buttermilk substitute that didn't work out and one following the recipe exactly). These pancakes always turn out extremely bland. The look, fluffiness and feel of the pancakes are perfect but the taste isn't good at all.

These were very good.. A little too thin for my liking, but overall a very yummy pancake!! I had to recalculate the recipe for 5 servings, so I dont know if that is the reason that they were thin, maybe it needs to be made in the amount listed. I also did not have buttermilk on hand, so I used 2 TBSP lemon juice to make a substitution. My husband liked these and he is pretty picky about his pancakes, so I will defintately make these again!! Thanks!

I always made different type of homemade pancakes and this is the best one yet...I have three boys in my house and loves it...I made such a big batch that I freeze them so that if they want pancake for breakfast or a snack, I just pop them in the toaster over...and voila!!! Great for camping too cause its ready made...so make a big batch, freeze some in few freezer ziplock bags for breakfast...

My wife didn't eat pancakes when I met her but she liked mine. For 23 years she would only eat mine. I made this recipe this morning and she kept repeating OMG these are fantastic! I guess I'll be making these instead of mine from now on. The only thing I did different was adding a little vanilla like some of the others did.

Absolutely divine! I halved the recipe and still had enough to make leftovers. Will freeze extra pancakes and serve as needed to kids. YUMMY!!! Wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

These pancakes are great! We make them at least twice a month. Sometimes I substitute about 1/2 wheat flour and they still taste wonderful! I also always add a tsp of vanilla.

These pancakes are THE fluffiest, most delicious pancakes i have ever had! Im a pancake lover and so is my husband and when i made these pancakes this morning, i knew they were different from my usual just by the way they cooked up nice and fluffy looking. This will definitely be my go-to pancake recipe from now on. OH and i even used all wheat flour and you know how stiff wheat pancakes tend to look and mine were just as fluffy as the pic shown above!

I added some mashed bananas as the batter was just beginning to combine, then sprinkled blueberries into the pancakes as they were cooking (before the pancakes bubble and are flipped). Very nice.

I have made pancakes for years, but had never tried the buttermilk variety. These have now become a weekend staple for our family. They are, in a word, PERFECT. They are also very simple to make. I sized the recipe to feed 6, and one quart of buttermilk makes two batches.

very very good recipe.Makes alot but i froze(they freeze wonderfully) the leftover pancake's for another day.Everyone loved them and they were so easy to make.We wont be making pancake's from a box again thnx :) UPDATE:I have been making this recipe for over a year and it is awesome!! For those having issues with the "fluffiness" Make sure all you ingrediants are at room temp and after you make the batter let it sit and rest for 15-20 minutes then give it a quick stir with your wisk and continue making them.Do not over mix or you will get tuff pancakes. If you having issues with lumps--Please sift your dry ingrediants before mixing with the wet.Lastly REAL Buttermilk is a must with this recipe!!!Powder buttermilk work's.But, doesnt have the same taste in your final product and milk/vinager is just a waste of time. These make the perfect pancakes for me every time and hopefully these tips will work for you also :)

This is the best pancake recipe that I have tried! I have used this recipe as a base, and added a variety of ingredients to it to make it healthier. First, 2/3 of the flour i used was whole wheat. Second, i added some ground flax seed - i scaled this recipe by half and added 1/2 of flax seed. I think i might try doing this with wheat germ sometime, too. Last, i added blueberries. Absolutely delicious!
