None of my family liked this at all. I guess we just don't like cooked, soft, mushy pineapple. Deleted from my recipe box!

Pretty good. I make tuna melts all the time and I like the addition of the pineapple. Next time I think I'm going to put a bit of a jerk marrinade into the pineapple and a hit of chipotle into the tuna to get it amped up a bit.

I recently became a single dad, and this was my first attempt at branching out my "repertoire" so to speak. My 8 year old son and I were a little nervous at first, but we really loved it. Thanks!

EXCELLENT recipe. I used drained crushed pineapple and added a bit of red pepper flakes so you got the sweet and spicy. Also used whole grain english muffins. East, inexpensive, GREAT tasting, healthy...winner recipe. Will be part of my regular rotation.

This is a great tuna change up! I only used half the can of pineapple, as 8 oz seems perfect for a double batch. I did not use celery and I added some curry powder. I served this on multigrain walnut bread and used sliced cheddar. So yummy! If it weren't for the walnuts in the bread, I may have added some chopped nuts for texture.

My kids were skeptical. But they loved them. The only thing we all didn't like is that in the time to cook the celery was still raw. We had to add alot more mayo too otherwise they would have been way to dry. They needed salt and pepper otherwise they were kinda bland. But overall we will make again. Loved it.

Yeah... I was TOTALLY skeptical about this recipe. For some reason I just couldn't wrap my head around the combination of ingredients, but it was awesome. I think it would also work with canned chicken and canned ham - ham or chicken with pineapple is always a good thing - I think this would be no exception. Oh... I used Lemon Juice (1/2 of medium lemon) and 1/4 tsp of Pepper rather than Lemon Pepper, since I didn't have any.

Aloha! :) What a nice, simple change from boring ol' tuna melts. Who would have thought that just adding pineapple would make such a difference? I didn't have sliced pineapple so I used tidbits instead. Used aged white cheddar as that is what I had in the fridge. Didn't have any english muffins or bagels so used slices of bread instead. Oh, I added a smidge of red pepper flakes too. Next time I will add finely chopped green pepper and freshly ground pepper. Hmm, maybe some finely diced red onion too. We love Hawaiian pizza so this was right up our alley! Thanks for sharing your recipe. An economical, speedy and tasty addition to my recipe box...hurray!

Quick, easy, and pleased the whole family! I used well-drained crushed pineapple & french bread because that is what I had on-hand. Worked great, and will use english muffins as suggested next time. Start to finish, less than ten minutes to prepare & serve, and very economical, too!

These were really good. My husband and I made them for a busy weeknight meal with some creamy tomato soup. Quick, easy and delicious. Yum. I used ff mayo and wheat English mufins. It turned out great. We'll have these again.

These were absolutely delicious! I used fresh shredded cheddar cheese instead of an american cheese slice. I will make this again to kick up boring tuna fish.

This is so yummy. Instead of sliced pineapple I used tidbits and added it to the salad. It was so good and filling too.
