I love mashed potatoes and I have made them several different ways. This was a great recipe! My wife and I enjoyed it. I always add garlic to mine and today was no exception. I roasted some garlic in the oven and put it in as I mashed the potatos! Turned out exquisit!

my husband absolutely loves these potatoes. I used the Yukon Gold potatoes though and i use butter milk instead of regular milk. Delicious!!

Perfect! I feel like a great cook until it comes to mashed potatoes...but these turned out great!! I boiled two slices of an onion with the potatoes then mashed them with the rest of the potatoes. I boiled 5 potatoes, used the milk and added about 6 tablesoons of butter with some lawry's salt. I feel very proud tonight :)

Perfect consistency and seasoning when followed exactly. Just like my grandmother makes, but I've never been able to...until now! I make a triple batch and stick them in the freezer for later meals. They are great reheated for a super-fast side dish.

Wasn't the greatest. The russet potatoes didn't really do much for me. I'll stick with my Yukon Gold recipe. Thanks, though...

Can't go wrong with mashed potatoes! We don't serve instant potatoes ever in my house, my husband gets enough of those when he's on a ship. These are simple, cheap and easy to make.
