"This is a dip that I like to bring tailgating because when asked how to make it -- it's easy enough that my football pals can even remember it while usually a little lightheaded from other beverages. :) Serve with your favorite taco dipping chips. Truthfully, put it in a bowl and stir." — diskostew22

1 (16 ounce) container
1 (8 ounce) package
shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (4 ounce) can
chopped green chilies
1/2 (4 ounce) can
chopped black olives, drained
1 (1 ounce) package
This is really good. I use my own taco seasoning in this recipe and I also stir in a 4 ounce can of diced mild green chilies. When I make this, it disappears very quickly. If you can make this sooner rather than later, you'll be glad you did. The longer it sits, the better it gets.
I have been making this dip for over 15 years and it is ALWAYS a hit! Easy and delicious. I top it with some diced fresh tomato just before serving. :)
Other optional ingredients -
Finely chopped scallions
Chopped Roma Tomatoes
I put this stuff on a baked potato. Smart!
Loved this easy dip, in addition to all the ingredients here, I also added green onions sliced very thin, great flavors here as I made this the day before serving. I also used a white shredded cheddar cheese and served with Tostitoes Scoops. Thanks!
Quick and easy! Added a few chopped jalapenos to add a kick! Will definitely make again and again! (Economical, goes a long way) :-)
wonderful! I did use a little less cheese, hard to stop eating it!
have made this dip many times. And with different variations. This one is a keeper.
