So easy to make - it reminds me of something the Olive Garden had years ago. I sauteed the onion in 1/2 c. of butter along with some minced garlic then added the mushrooms until they were soft. I then added the peas and ham. In a separate bowl I mixed 1 c. of heavy cream and 3/4 c. of half and half with 1 tbsp. of cornstarch and added that to the mix along with 1/2 tsp. of salt and some cracked black pepper. I let that simmer and then added 1 c. shredded parmesan cheese vs. grated for better flavor. I poured this over the tortellini vs. mixing it in - this way the tortellini doesn't get mushy. Very simple and quick but looks and tastes like you spent hours.

This dish was just O.K. to me. I pretty much followed the recipe with the exception of adding some minced garlic. I just felt this dish did not have much flavor to it. It needs something to give it some zip.

Excellent! I omitted the mushrooms and next time will reduce amount of peas as well, for personal preference.

I needed something for a family party and this looked good. I had planned to follow the recipe exactly but after tasting the sauce, (which was very good) I added some garlic powder. It just seemed to need a little punch. That did the trick. I got rave reviews from my extended family, all of whom are used to eating the best foods since growing up with a wondercook for a mom. This is one of several times that my first attempt at an All Recipe's recipe was for a crowd and well received. Love the reviews as well as the recipes!

This is one of my Fincee's favorite recipes. I omit the ham and add bacon and chicken. He calls it "pea pasta". I only make on special occasions since it's not very healthy

This dish was excellent. It is quick, easy and, best of all, tasty. The first time I made it I skimped on the peas (only had a handful on hand) and had no mushrooms. I cannot wait to add the full amount of peas. My son missed it and ate it warmed the next day and pronounced it a "make-again!" Serve it with freshly grated Parm and a nice salad. Enjoy.

My mom & I really liked this recipe, we like peas though. My husband & my son said they did not like it but they ate it. I used jar store bought Alfredo sauce instead , I just omitted those ingredients from the recipe.

This was really tasty and very easy to throw together. I substituted bacon for the ham and asparagus for the peas and the only other change was to season it with some paprika at the very end. Thanks!

This is good but I felt it was missing something. I will make it again but I think I'll try putting in a more flavorful meat instead of ham and maybe some more veggies.

Delicious! Used crumbled bacon instead of ham and threw some carrots in instead of mushrooms due to what I had on hand. Went perfectly with my Baked Pesto Chicken. Thank you for the recipe!

Delicious! Both of my toddlers gobbled this up and then ate all of the leftovers the next day. I did use bacon instead of ham because it was what I had on hand but I feel it would have been just as good either way.
