I am gluten intolerant, so I almost never bake, and when I do I can't taste what I make (sadness). That being said, I needed a special cake and a search turned up this recipe. The only substitution I made was two sticks of butter instead of oil. I literally sat near the kitchen just to enjoy the incredible smell of this cake baking. My lucky recipients told me this was "the best cake ever", to "not make any changes", and that it was "probably several sins" to consume it. Thank you for turning this clueless cook into a Cake Hero!
