I decided to try this cake out last night and it was amazing! I used just a tiny bit less oil because of someone else's review but I can honestly say that the right amount of oil won't hurt it. This cake doesn't even need frosting! I had my mom pick up cream cheese frosting and we haven't even opened it. The outside has a delicious crumbly rougher texture ( I don't know how to explain it) and the inside has this gooey center that's to die for. Love it!

This cake was awesome!!! So chocolatey and so good. I topped mine with a homemade milk chocolate topping. Very easy to make:3/4 cup evaporated milk, 1 cup semisweet milk chocolate chips,3/4 cup sugar or to taste and half tsp of vanilla extract. Everyone loved it! It was so moist and rich. Will definately make again.

Have made this several times now and it is always a big hit. I never change a thing about it and it's always gone before the party's over! Using a cake mix makes it super easy, too.

WONDERFUL! I followed the ingrediants exactly. Didn't have mini-chocolate chips...so my husband spent 20 min crushing up regular ones. Made a 2 lay 8" cake for my son's birthday. Iced it with the "chocolate cheese frosting" from this site.

Very good - I used two round pans instead. I did overcook it a little, even with reducing the temp. But overall, a good recipe. It wasn't quite what I was looking for - it turned into a giant brownie after sitting in the fridge! Which wouldn't be so bad, I had just made it for my daughter's birthday and it didn't really come out like I hoped it would. Definitely good if you're not going for the traditional cake.

Very yummy! Very moist but spongy, not dense like brownies. Plan to use it again for my sons birthday cake!

Very yummy. Made as specified. Only substituted 1/2 cup applesauce for 1/2 of the oil. Very moist cake. Everyone loved it.

This was the best cake ever. I'm going to try it with a red velvet mix, no choc-chips and a cream cheese frosting

Very good! Made for my mom (a chocolate lover!) for her birthday. Used the Satiny Glaze that others recommended but substituted mint chips - was really good!

Cake mixes are limited where I live so I didn't have access to devil's food. I used Duncan Hines Triple Chocolate cake. I also didn't have sour cream so I used homemade plain caspian yogurt. I made these into cupcakes for a pull apart pumpkin cake for a Halloween party. I had to frost them with vanilla frosting. They are absolutely delicious. I don't normally like anything with cake mix, but these are sooooo yummy!!

Just plain wonderful and wouldn't change a thing. The only thing to watch out for is to make sure you use the correct size bundt cake pan. This cake rises quite a bit. I didn't know how big my pan was and it turned out being too small and had to crank the temp down at the end and bake a little longer. My problem though and nothing to do with the recipe! Made with the Satiny Chocolate Glaze from this site, as others suggested. It was chocolate perfection and so easy. This ones a keeper!

Awesome! Wonderful! But it should be called NEVER Too Much Chocolate Cake, shouldn't it? I'm planning to make this for an upcoming pot luck at work. I'm sure they will love it as much as I did! I used the Satiny Chocolate Glaze from this site to top this cake and it was delicious.

Absolutely divine! Not too much of a chocolate cake lover, but couldn't get enough after trying it. Used sugar-free pudding mix, unsweetened apple sauce as veggie oil substitute, fat free sour cream, topped with "Satin Chocolate Glaze" and toffee bits. Taste so moist and delicious. Thanks for the great recipe! A definite keeper!

Chocolate chips didn't melt, so if I ever make this again I would actually leave them out or use the mini chocolate chips.
