Hands down, the best chocolate cake I've ever had. I loved the picture posted so I baked the cake in a Bundt pan and once it cooled, I heated chocolate frosting in the microwave (at 15 second intervals) until it was warm enough to pour. Then I slowly poured the icing all along the rim of the cake and it oozed down the sides, shiny and beautiful. Thank you for this wonderful recipe!

My husband loved this cake on Fathers' day. It was very easy. I only had one (small) package of pudding though, so I substituted the dream whip that I have been wondering what to do with. The batter was thick enough to hold the normal sized chocolate chips, no need to buy the tinies. The cake was delicious and moist with chocolate chips in every bite, everyone loved it.

Chocoholic rated this cake a five-star. It was as pretty as it was moist and delicious. I used two boxes of 3.4 oz Instant Choc Pudding mixes as I did not have the size called for. Powdered sugar lightly dusted over top was all it needed to complete.

Delicious and moist - made it as the directions said. I will try it with 1/2 the oil replaced with applesauce next time to save calories.

A friend put a link to this cake on facebook and I just had to try it. I am glad I did. I went ahead and made a chocolate ganache to drizzle on the top. I ended up using two 9 in round pans. Sent the rest to work with my husband and it was all gone before 8AM!! You really have tp try this cake. If you LOVE CHOCOLATE you will love this.

OMG! I have made this cake about 5 times now and every time I do, there is never any left overs. I taught my neices how to make it and there are driving my sister crazy with making it everyday. Easy, moist and so good. The best cake I have ever come across. Thank you to whom ever created this cake.

Very good. Very moist and came out of the pan with no problem--I sometimes have problems with cakes coming out of bundt pans. I couldn't find chocolate pudding at my local grocery store, so I used devil's food pudding instead. I think it came out a bit more rich. Everyone at work raved about it at work and it was gone before the end of the day.

Everyone really liked the cake. My sister wanted the recipe on her first bit. I added 1 cup of mini chocolate chips instead of the 2 as others suggested and turned out great. It's easy to make with good results.

Used this for my father's day dessert as my dad looooooves chocolate cake (and so do I). I used 2 9" round pans and made a nice layer cake, frosted with a simple chocolate frosting. The cakes were baked on friday and then assembled on sunday since a lot of the reviews said that it was best the next day. I omitted the chocolate chips. Everyone loved it.

The first time I made this, I made cupcakes. I didn't have time to get them to friends the day I baked them, but even two days later they were still moist and delicious. Everyone said they were the best cupcakes they'd ever eaten! I used mini chocolate chips in that batch. The second time I baked them, I tried melting the chips and adding them...needless to say, TERRIBLE idea! I completely forgot that there was pudding mix in the batter and of course, they gelled up and made the cupcakes very dry and hard. I guess it's good to learn from your mistakes!

Prior to making this I read several pages of reviews. For reviews less than 4 or 5 stars I thought or reasons for the review's displeasure such as using an inexpensive cake mix, personal preference etc. After all 1400 reviewer's can't be wrong- can they? Well yes IMHO they are!! I followed the directions exactly and this was the absolutely worst cake I have every made and the only one neither my family or myself wouldn't eat.The taste of chemicals was overwhelming- something I have never experienced from any food prior to this. Stick with Crazy Cake- it's an oldie but a goodie.

I hateeeee chocolate cake! But this was definitely good! This is a chocolate cake lover dream. The only changes I made was to use 1 1/4 cut semi sweet chocolate and 3/4 regular sweet milk chocolate (only because i ran out of semi sweet). Im glad i did it because some chocolate cakes tend to be bitter because of the chocolate but this was right there on the edge with the changes I made. Perfect! I wish i can make this from scratch!

Absolutely delicious and held together wonderfully even though it was very moist. Wonderful warm ala mode. The mini chocolate chips melted and made it even more fabulous. I didn't have chocolate pudding so I used a cheesecake pudding - I'm sure anything would work. Used sugar free pudding and lite sour cream.

I made this for all the chocolate lovers at a family gathering, but we had a lot left (to be fair there were several deserts, that's why I still give it 4 stars). It is very chocolaty-way too much for me, but I don't care for chocolate-the true chocolate lovers loved it.

AWESOME! I've made this several times, and it's always turned out well. Super easy, and everyone thinks it's fantastic. Only suggestion I have is to use mini chocolate chips, as others said...you get lots of chocolate bits throughout, instead of just at the bottom!
