Does not make very much. I doubled the amount of pasta. Next time I will cut back on the oil as it is way to much.

Delicious and full of basil flavor. Taking the advice of others, I heated up the olive oil with a splash of red wine vinegar, then add in garlic, saute, add in basil and tomato a pinch of Italian seasoning, and a pinch of crushed pepper flakes, salt and pepper, heat through...viola. Add to the cooked pasta, stir, eat.

I made this recipe exactly as stated but I added some cooked chicken breast and heated it with the tomato mixture before tossing it with the pasta. WOW! We all LOVED it!!!!! AWESOME! We'll have this again and again w/fresh garden tomatoes.

Good as a side dish, especially with garden ripe tomatoes and fresh basil. I added the tomato mixture to the hot pasta and heated slightly.

My family LOVED this, but I must admit that I tweaked it quite a bit. I heated the oil in a skillet for about 7min., along with the other ingredients. I also added about 2T of the Mrs. Dash Italian Blend. But, everyone thought it was fantastic and I'm making it again this week! Oh, and I used homegrown tomatos.....yummy!

This recipe was o.k. way to much oil! and even dried herbs taste better when they are sautéd a little.

I was looking for a quick and easy dish for dinner to go with a tomato based bread I made. This was NOT it. Although, I quickly realized that this is something you take to a picnic or as a SUMMER side dish... it tasted decent. Nothing spectacular but a good base recipe.
