"I have tried several different recipes for salsa and this is the one my family and friends like the best. I have given it to a lot of people who all loved it!"

green bell peppers, diced
jalapeno peppers, seeded and minced
4 (4 ounce) cans
diced green chiles
ground black pepper
chopped fresh cilantro
I liked this recipe, but as almost everyone who tried it mentioned, there is too much celery....and it takes away from the salsa.
If you love celery you with love it. If you hate celery you will hate it. Ground pepper and celery over power
I have tried so many different salsa recipes and have been disappointed. When I found this one, I was skeptical, but it is a WONDERFUL recipe. My husband likes HOT HOT HOT salsa, but I prefer it just a little spicy. After evrything is together, I finely chop 3-4 hobinero (spelling?) peppers for him. It burns my nose just smelling them, but he loves it! Personally, I think he is little crazy!! Thanks for the great recipe! Nikkole
It took a lot of time, too much celery and what's with the oregano. It turned the salsa totally brown and looked as if meat was in it. My family thought it was chili on the stove. Don't bother with this one... move on.
Other than cutting down the celery by half, and reducing some of the spices to make this a "mild" salsa - the result was good (according to my boyfriend and daughter). I'm only so-so on this salsa recipe but I also shared a jar with my extended family and they claimed to have liked it alot too. However, it is MY opinion that it is too time consuming for the taste it produces. But if you like chunky salsa's and are willing to spend some time I'd say give it a whirl. Its not that I found this recipe "bad" - its just not my favorite. But then again - my opinion seems to be the minority (BUT THEY DIDN'T COOK IT EITHER - that's easy for them to say!:)) Thanks!
Great recipe. Loved the chunkiness and the spicy flavor. Too much celery. Cook the vegatables with the tomatoes for better flavor and more nutritous. Did not make 12 pints.
This was good, but it takes a lot of time, and the seasonings were a little off to my taste. I adjusted, and it had a very fresh taste, but it was quite time consuming.
This is soooooo good!
