Tomato Macaroni Soup

"I have made this from scratch for years and my kids used to love it and I still make it just for myself. I use two cups or more of home canned tomatoes."

Ingredients

  • 1 cup macaroni
  • 3 cups milk
  • 3 tablespoons margarine
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes

Directions

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
  2. In a large saucepan combine cooked macaroni, milk, margarine and salt and pepper. Then stir in tomatoes. Cook over medium heat until quite hot.
