I haven't made this recipe, yet, but intend to do so for Thanksgiving. There's only one change I'll make... I'm going to use BUTTERSCOTCH Chips. That should help cut down on the messiness.

Loved this but found it to be VERY messy....the chocolate completely melts all over your fingers while you're eating it. If anyone has some tips on how to avoid this I'd appreciate it. Also, I put it in the fridge to harden since it was so warm out...maybe that is the reason it melts so easily?????

I forgot to cut up the caramels. Big mistake. I used semi sweet, but I should have used milk chocolate. Next time it will be great!

A yummy snack/dessert but it took much longer than expected for the chocolate to really harden and the mixture to firm up enough to eat without making a huge mess (like 3-4 hours or so). I would recommend making it a day ahead to be sure.

This is SO good and so easy. What a great combo of textures, the caramels are what make this so unique and takes it to another level. YUM! This makes a lot, but double it, trust me. Thanks for this one!!!

This is my absolute favorite treat to take camping. Everyone loves it, and it is very addicting (so make 2 batches!). We left the cooler out by mistake one night and the racoons made off with the whole bag. Definitely a keeper.

This was very easy to make and everyone at our Thanksgiving get together loved it. I does take a while to chop up the caramel into small pieces but it went faster when I used the kitchen scissors. It's well worth it though.
