I halved the recipe, but only because I didn't have enough flour! I'm glad I did though. Half of the recipe made 18 completed cookies. These were wonderful, but my son suggested perhaps next time, we melt some chocolate and drizzle it on top of the cookies for some added flavor.

These are wonderufl. I cut down on the brown sugar and I cut down on the amount of frosting I made too. I made a few sandwich cookies, but just frosted only the tops of most of them and sprinkled toffee bits on those ones. I love the caramely flavor and crunch of the toffee bits.

WAY to sweet. I have a sweet tooth the size of texas and these were just way too sweet. Not good. Not even without the to rich frosting.

These were a bit too sweet for my taste. After making a few sandwiches, I ended up putting a light coating of the frosting on top of the cookie and then smashing it into a bowl of pecan bits. They are still very sweet but easier to handle for me. The cookies themselves are awesome!!

These cookies are really good. I sprinkled the leftover toffee from the bag on top of the cookies before I put them in the oven. I also used peanut butter instead of the frosting, and it brought tears of joy to my eyes.

This recipe made the most easy-to-make, soft, moist, and delicious cookies that I have tasted in a long time. I don't think it gets better than this. It all started out by finding a stashed bag of English toffee bits w/ chocolate, on one of those Saturdays where you just feel like lounging and vegging all day with your hunny. When I came across this website I found this recipe that called for the toffee bits. Well, I'm glad that I found these out...they're perfect for the holiday season!

Yum! I made the cookies and they were so good I didn't even bother with the frosting! Just ate them as they came out of the oven! Even my husband, who usually prefers chocolate chip cookies, really liked them! Will try with the frosting next time, if they last long enough!
