1 (8 ounce) package
cream cheese, softened
1 (8 ounce) package
cream cheese with chives
1 (10.75 ounce) can
condensed cream of shrimp soup
1 (4.5 ounce) can
shrimp, coarsely chopped
Campbells' makes a cream of shrimp soup and that's the brand I use...they usually stock it around the holidays, and I suspect this recipe is one of the reason's why ;-)
I thought it had very little taste. I will not make this again.
This is one of the best dips we've made - very easy to put together and great tasting! We used extra shrimp and less cream cheese.
This was very good - I tasted it warm and liked it but made it early so I served it cold and it was just as good. I used herbed pita chips to dip it with and the spices on them took it up a notch too.
This sounds like an interesting recipe, but where can I find cream of shrimp soup? If anyone knows any brand names. Cant wait to try!!!
USED IT FOR CHRISTMAS. KIDS LIKED IT, BUT THEN MAYBE I HAVE SOME WEIRD KIDS... ANYHOW, GOT LOTS OF COMPLIMENTS
