Good pancakes. They are very light and fluffy. I used spelt flour flour and fresh blueberries. I also used vegetable oil and added a dose of vanilla. The family enjoyed them very much. I served with a homemade blueberry syrup, and a double recipe disappeared before the day was over.

Great recipe! I used 3 tbs sugar and 2 tbs vanilla and it was great! I also didn't have time to let it sit an hour and they still got rave reviews from dad, husband and son!

This is so good! Light and fluffy. I'm used to plainer food so this worked well for me. For those of you who prefer more flavor, you might need to add more sugar or have it with syrup. I didn't have any blueberry so I just made it as it is without the berries. I paired the pancakes with strawberry reserve and coffee. So yum!!! My first time making pancakes and this is so easy. Next time I'll probably add some cinnamon.

These are famous for a reason -they are AWESOME! It was my 1st attempt at pancakes and I could not have been happier. I prepared the recipe as written, with the exception of the sugar- I added 1 Tbls and used canola oil for the melted butter. The results were light, fluffy and super delicious. Will make again and again and use this as a 'plain' pancake recipe as well. Thank you Allison/Todd, a keeper for sure!!!:)

I made these as written, except used fresh berries. Used a 1/4 cup for scooping and got 8 fluffy, yummy pancakes. My husband, who always asks for the Banana Pancakes I from this site, actually said he'd take these too for variety now. That's huge coming from him as he likes no other pancakes since the first time I made those. Thanks for sharing.

This was my first time ever making pancakes from scratch and I definitely picked the right recipe to start with! They were fluffy and very tasty! I even added a little bit of cinnamon and vanilla to experiment. Only thing that I'd mention is that I made this recipe for 2 people and it was the perfect amount, so you might want to double the recipe for a family. I might try this recipe next time with fresh blueberries next time, but the frozen ones worked out perfectly! Very delicious!

Flavor was good, very sweet...I doubled the recipe and think that it had too much sugar as the pancakes were heavy and sticky! I'm not a great pancake maker anyway but I would probably try this again and not double the sugar if I make a bigger batch...I used fresh blueberries-yum!

I thought these were great. My pancakes usually turn out thin and flat. These puffed up nicely. Only thing I'd do different next time is to give the batter one more stir before pouring out on the griddle. My blueberries sank to the bottom, so my first couple of pancakes had very few berries and my last couple had tons.

These are simple and good. Not out of this world, but definitely good. I used frozen blueberries and wonder if fresh would be better (fresh usually is!).

Great recipe, I used whole wheat flour, applesauce in place of the butter, Splenda for the sugar, a little cinnamon and fresh blueberries. I did these substitutes because of health issues. Delicious

This is a very tastey! I agree with some prior reviews that is it bland, so I suggest adding the following: 1 tbl of butter (instead of 1/2) 1 1/2-2 tbl of mexican vanilla, and to save on un-wanted calories, substitute splenda for sugar. I think it tastes better my way but you can be the judge!

Perfect recipe as written. I only let mine sit for 1/2 an hour, but I don't think that really affected the outcome. Just the right amount of sweetness. I may actually increase the blueberries the next time, though, just because I love blueberries!

I think these would've been perfect if I had scaled back on the sugar.

Awesome! I substituted in soy milk and it worked out great. I also added sliced bananas after putting them into the pan and I think that is what made them taste so amazing!

The pancake was bland but the pancakes turned out big and "fluffy". It only made 8 pancakes for me when I used a 1/4 cup for pouring...so if I make this again I'm going to have to double this recipe for a family of 5.

Yummy! I made these after my son had a friend sleep over and I felt obliged to make a decent breakfast. I originally wanted Apple Blueberry pancakes so I added in a cup of applesauce, which I thought would mean leaving out a cup of milk. I ended up adding in most of the second cup.(I doubled the recipe) The pancakes turned out amazingly well! Between DH, the two boys and my toddler they polished off almost all of it, leaving me just one teeny one at the end. It was pretty darn good...but tasted like more.:(

Loved it! Didn't bother waiting 1 hour this time. Sprinkled blueberries while cooking so they didn't get smashed (I used frozen). Thank you!
