I give this 5 stars with 2 easy changes. 1) Use 3/4 cup of blueberries and 2) add 1 tsp of almond extract. Delicious! I have made this recipe half a dozen times and I never wait an hour, the pancakes still taste great. My only complaint is the serving size - it actually only makes about 8 small pancakes, which is only 2 servings in my household!

We made these this morning, and they were fantastic. My husband said that they were the best pancakes he'd ever had. The only change I made was that I used buttermilk instead of regular milk. I also separated the egg white and beat that until soft peaks formed, then I folded it into the batter. They were SO light and fluffy. Excellent recipe!

These pancakes were delicious. I followed the recipe exactly, and was very happy with the results. I will freeze some local blueberries so that we can make this all year long. Thanks.

These were quite tasty. I only let my batter sit for about 10-15 minutes before cooking and they turned out fine. Not sure what the advantage to letting them sit longer would be. Also, it only made 8 1/4 cup sized pancakes for me. So, I would say that it serves 2-3 people. I mixed 1/2 cup blueberries into the batter and then sprinkled a few more on top of the pancakes after I had poured them into the pan.

Good! This made excellent, super thick, fluffy pancakes. I doubled up on the recipe. One batch doesn't make much, because after it sits, the batter is very thick. I will make them again, but I will add a bit more sugar and maybe sub the milk for buttermilk - just because I'd love a bit more taste. But texture-wise, these are awesome! Thank you very much. :)

Very good and what I liked was that it was easy to throw together quickly. I doubled the recipe in order to have leftovers. I put some blueberries in the batter and added additional ones while they were cooking on the griddle. I also added a little extra sugar, almond extract and a dash of apple pie spice. Very good!! Like other reviewers mentioned, no need to let the batter sit. Can be used right away.

These were good! I used fresh blueberries and added a 1/2 cup extra to the batter. I also made homemade strawberry syrup (the recipe for the syrup is on this site as well) and put whipped cream on top. Yum!

Super pancakes, but... you'll need to at LEAST double the batch if you're cooking for more than 3 people (and aren't planning to serve a lot of other breakfast food). They turned out very moist and light, great texture and taste! We used fresh berries.

We thought the flavor was kinda..... plain, bland . We had fresh blueberries and was really hoping for a wow with this recipe, but it just didn't do it for us. Maybe we should have added vanilla?. Blueberries are my favorite food.So i will keep looking for a wow recipe.Thanks.

Yum! I just made these for dinner tonight and they were great! I used fresh blueberries instead, and added an extra Tbs sugar. I also only let them set about 20 min and they were still great! Exactly what I was looking for.

I had high hopes for these, but they didn't really do it for me. I followed the recipe exactly, but they didn't blow me away at all. Perhaps this is due to my living at altitude, which tends to mess with things in general, but I'll keep looking.

We loved this recipe! I prefer my pancakes to not be super sweet, so this worked well for us. I swapped splenda for sugar and it worked perfectly. I used the remainder of my blueberries to to create a syrup, just cooked them down with a couple tablespoons of butter and honey..YUMM!

I make pancakes every Sunday for my teenage sons and we all agreed this wasn't the greatest. The flavor was a bit bland. My favorite on this site is Old Fashioned Pancakes, we simply add blueberries if we want them. It needs more fat and a litte more sugar.

Outstanding!! Made with 1/2 T. of oil instead of butter and added blueberries to top of pancakes on the griddle. These were light and tender. Perfect!! Thanks for the great recipe!
